Tracy Harrison

Tracy started teaching in 1992 at Roseacre Primary School. After working here for 7 years, she moved to Layton Primary in Blackpool as Literacy lead across the school. Following her work on Literacy, Tracy was appointed as an Intensive Support Consultant for Blackpool Local Authority. In this role, Tracy supported several schools, working alongside the leadership teams focusing on school improvement and raising attainment.

It was during these years as a consultant that Tracy developed her coaching and mentoring skills, working alongside schools experiencing difficulty and helping to steer them towards rapid and sustainable improved outcomes for children and families.

Tracy became Headteacher at Thames Primary Academy in 2010, moving onto Executive Headteacher at both Thames and Roseacre (on behalf of AtC) in 2019. In September 2020 after the successful merger of Thames and AtC, Tracy was appointed as Primary Director for AtC, continuing in her role as Executive Headteacher at both primary schools.

In this role, Tracy provides support and leadership expertise to the primary schools in the Trust, working collaboratively with other primaries across Blackpool and the surrounding areas. Tracy is a well respected leader in primary education with a vast experience of delivering high quality outcomes.

Beth Lewis

Head of Human Resources

My career in HR started over 25 years ago in the private sector where I have worked for a number of companies including British Steel, BAE Systems and Hallmark cards. For the last 10 years I have worked in the Education sector supporting a number of primary schools in the Blackburn area before joining Witton Park Academy from where I joined the Central Trust team where I am now the Head of HR.

I’m originally from South Wales, via Worcestershire, Bristol, France, Manchester, London and Japan! My husband and I moved to Lancashire 17 years ago and have gained a teenage daughter and miniature dachshund along the way. I’m a keen cook and often have friends round to act as guinea pigs for my new creations!

Kathryn Johnson

Finance Manager

Kathryn Johnson
Trust Finance and Payroll Manager

Kathryn began her school finance career at a grant maintained secondary school in Bolton in 1995 as Finance Assistant. She worked at the same school for 18 years seeing many changes in the business management of schools. Kathryn became the School Business Manager and looked after the operational side of the school.

Kathryn has over 10 years experience as a Business Manager at schools in Bolton and Wigan. Kathryn played a lead part in converting a high school to academy status, forming a new Multi Academy Trust at the same time. She then became the Chief Finance Officer of the newly formed Trust with 3 academies.

Kathryn also qualified as a School Resource Management Advisor (SRMA) and worked as a School Business consultant in the North West. She has since worked in finance with 3 Multi Academy Trusts in the region, including AtC.

In her spare time Kathryn enjoys going to the gym, running and bell ringing at her local church.

Chris Hall

Media and Marketing Officer

Chris works as the Media and Marketing Officer for AtC Multi-Academy Trust. He is skilled and experienced within publicising and creating content for both online and offline purposes within the education sector. His qualifications include BA Honours Degree in Digital Media Design and PGCE in ICT. His expertise include developing marketing strategies, proven PR, marketing and communication experience, implementing marketing initiatives using traditional and social media, ability to assess marketing challenges and initiate appropriate solutions, prior experience of digital media and marketing in an educational setting, excellent communication, organisational and project management skills.

Vicky Whiting

Director of Education

Vicky started her career teaching English; a subject which is both her passion and her specialism. She has worked for a number of schools and organisations including the National Literacy Trust with her past responsibility as whole school literacy coordinator and is passionate about raising standards with literacy and in particular reading. After becoming an advanced skills teacher and lead practitioner, Vicky then went on to become a specialist leader of education; supporting school improvement across multiple schools and Trusts in the North West.

Vicky has worked as an educational trainer, consultant and facilitator over the last 10 years, and is a fully qualified performance coach.

She has held senior leadership positions in two schools, responsible for teaching and learning and for curriculum. Following a brief spell as Leader of School Improvement for AtC, she is now the Director of Education working as part of the Trust Quality of Education team.

Helen Johnson

Finance Officer

I joined ATC Trust in July 2022. I have recently completed my AAT level 2 and I am now
studying AAT level 3. I also have an NVQ level 3 in Business Admin. Before working at ATC
I have had admin roles at an Adoption Agency and at two primary schools which I really
enjoyed.
In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym, walking my dogs, Lola and Poppy, and spending
time with family and friends.

Zaitoon Bukhari

Director of Digital Education

Zaitoon is ATC's EdTech LEad. She is working across the trust and within it's schools to drive the Digital Strategy. The Digital Strategy is striving to create a common educational platform ato enable collaboration, reduce staff workload, improve pedagogical expertise for learning.

In addition to leading the development and implementation of EdTech at ATC, Zaitoon is a Google Certified Trainer, Innovator and Coach and often delivers on request face to face and digital webinar around the country.

Zaitoon is passionate about designing and creating platforms which help reduce workload but are equally impactful for staff and student development. As a qualified Teacher of Science, Zaitoon fully understands the demands of the teaching profession and is always on the search for new and innovative ways teachers can enhance their teaching and learning.

Rosie Kausar

Business Support Officer

Rosie works as the Business Support Officer for the AtC Multi Academy Trust, and provides administrative support to the trust Executive Team and to the central team. Rosie contributes to whole trust projects and ad hoc development work in line with the trust development plan. Rosie also helps to support staff recruitment, pensions administration and input payroll changes. Rosie enjoys cooking, spending time with family and friends.

IT Team

Adam Carlson

IT Technician

Adam started his IT journey as an apprentice with Blackburn College at primary school, after a couple of years working away from education, he came back to education joining the ATC Trust Team in September 2019. Adam works as an IT Technician, he supports the SLA schools as well as multiple schools across the trust. Outside of work, when he’s not helping family and friends with their IT problems, Adam likes to go on walks in the local countryside or further afield.

Zubair Mulla

IT Technician

Zubair works as an IT Technician for AtC Multi-Academy Trust. He provides IT support to multiple schools across the trust both onsite and remote. Previously he has worked at Preston College where he decided he wanted to have a career change and work in IT. He gained a L3 Diploma in Interactive Media and Software qualification at Blackburn College previously which has enabled him to learn and build upon his knowledge of IT systems. He is a keen learner and wants to support the schools across the trust, helping them to implement the new digital strategy. Outside of work Zubair enjoys playing sports and working on small DIY projects at home.

Jason Mills

IT Technician

Jason supports IT use in school, based primarily at Witton Park Academy. He has many years experience from similar roles in other schools and joined Witton in 2012 at the opening of its new building. Jason is your man for crafting a spreadsheet formula or a sonnet, though he finds there is less call for the latter.
