Achievement through Collaboration is a Trust with a purpose! We want our children, our staff and our schools to Achieve, Belong and Collaborate.

A Multi Academy Trust is a charity with a single purpose- to advance education for the public benefit.
But, if every Trust has the same single purpose, what is it that sets Achievement through Collaboration apart from other Trusts? What is our promise to our children, staff, parents and communities? How do we ensure that children attending an AtC school are receiving a better education than they would have had should their school not be a member of our Trust?
Achievement through Collaboration is a Trust with a purpose! We want our children, our staff and our schools to Achieve, Belong and Collaborate.
To achieve our purpose, we know there are things we need to get right!
Through a clear definition and articulation of the values and beliefs of Achievement through Collaboration, weโve built an organisation with children at the heart of everything we do. Our schools have the individuality to make the right choices for their pupils, staff and communities within a culture of collaboration.
Our Trust Board owns the strategic plan, holding the executive team to account to deliver it whilst delegating the correct things to the Local Governing Bodies. LGBs are supported to build their role around the children, parents and staff of their individual school whilst expressing the โweโ of the Trust.
Key to maintaining our successful educational standards is a clear trust wide school improvement strategy/plan that meets the needs of every school wherever they are on their journey. Our Trust Wide strategy for capturing the most effective practice and transmitting it between more classrooms is in place and underpinned by a workforce talent management strategy that facilitates staff development and deployment.
A strong central team connects the academies enabling leaders and teachers to concentrate on educational delivery. Achievement through Collaboration is financially stable which enables the strategic allocation of resources that enables standards to be maintained and improvements to be achieved.
We believe that all children, staff and schools benefit from belonging to a family of schools within a strong collaborative multi-academy trust. We are an outward organisation, we embrace innovation and opportunities that benefit our pupils. AtC has invested in staff to build capacity to collaborate with other schools and we are now actively looking to grow further.
If you share our values and are interested in joining one of our schools as a member of staff or your school joining our Trust, we look forward to hearing from you.

We were delighted to welcome HM Coastguard Lytham , who visited us to teach Reception about staying safe by the sea, the vital role they play in protecting lives, and what to do in an emergency.
The children listened beautifully throughout and were fully engaged, asking thoughtful questions and showing great interest in everything they learned.
To finish, we enjoyed a fun and memorable demonstration as Miss Remboski and Mrs Curran tried on one of the Coastguardsโ special wetsuits and was soaked with water, helping us all see just how impressively waterproof they really are!
A special thank you to Shaun, Paul and Paul for a very engaging and informative demonstration ๐ … See MoreSee Less

Year 4 visited the beach as part of their Art project on sculptures. While there, the children created their own sand sculptures, exploring shape, texture, and form in a fun, hands-on way. Afterwards, they enjoyed a walk along the promenade, where they observed and discussed a variety of existing sculptures, helping to inspire their own creative ideas ๐๏ธ๐ชฃ๐ชโ๏ธ … See MoreSee Less

We need your help! ๐ฃ
With the weather turning more clement, we are desperate to provide dress-up opportunities for the children at play times. With this in mind, we are politely asking for any donations of surplus dress-up clothing that may be being forgotten about at home.
If you're having a spring clear out and unsure as to whether an item can be repurposed then please don't hesitate to ask. Donations can be placed in one of our 'donation station' bins around the school playgrounds. May we also take this opportunity to sincerely thank everyone for their generosity so far. … See MoreSee Less
As the curtain fell on another triumphant school production, West Side Story stood as a testament to the immense talent and passion for the Arts at Bowland. This year, the cast delivered a profoundly mature performance, anchored by the tragic romance of Tony and Maria, played by Declan and Sofia. They captivated the audience, with their undeniable chemistry and soaring vocals tugging at every heartstring.
The leading duo was supported by the flawless energy of the Jets and the Sharks. Students fully inhabited their roles, juxtaposing the "cool," stylised grit of New York with the fiery spirit of Puerto Rico. From the vibrant spectacle of "America" to the chilling harmonies of the "Tonight Quintet" and "Somewhere" the ensemble numbers were nothing short of breathtaking. It was an unforgettable show that left the audience in awe of what our students can achieve.
Miss Kellow and Miss Byatt are incredibly proud of the students and thank you for all your support in making West Side a success, they are now busy planning for next year's musical! … See MoreSee Less
Year 2 have been making micro habitats in science ๐ฆ๐ They planned them first and then collected materials such as sticks, leaves, pine cones and rocks to put inside.
